My trip to see Dennis

Dennis Brown

I just spent 4 fabulous days with my artist friend Dennis Brown. I won't even begin to describe his talents as a sculpture so attached here is a link... http://dennisbrownartist.com/blog

Dennis works in a studio in the middle of "Country Village" located in Bothell WA. A series of cute shops shared by roosters, ducks and apparently an otter. I was not lucky enough to see him but the shop owners say he's there in the big pond. Anyway, if you visit Country Village a few of my favorite shops where The Weed Patch (they carry my Pumpkinseeds Enesco line... call them I signed all their Easter birds), the antique mall where I purchased two amazing vintage suitcases and Chapters Photography. Rob the owner was so inspiring!

I learned a few new techniques these past few days. All of which I am excited to try. I also had a scarecrow sculpting contest with Dennis :) That was super fun. We both have very different styles. He has so much detail and all of his pieces tell a story. Do check out his blog which will lead to you to his website. Fabulous work!! Just fabulous.

I will also upload some pics this afternoon so watch for those :)

Prototypes for sale

These are from my own collection. Now available are these four prototypes from Enesco. Prototypes are one of a kind pieces that I receive prior to the artwork going to production. I must approve these samples. Once I approve, the manufacturing begins. These are from 2007-2008 Enesco. I am moving soon and must deplete my inventory. Prices are 55.00 each. I've sold these for around the 100.00 range in the past. Hurry if interested. Go to www.pumpkin-seeds.com to see shipping info. Please be specific as to which figure you want.
