Encaustic spooky collage 5.5 x 5.5 inches

Trying my hand at encaustic painting. What fun! Encaustic is a method of painting with hot beeswax. Encaustic paintings are usually, but not always done in collage style. This collage features a spooky halloween trick or treater photo with antique cotton netting, a golden moth cocoon and random scrapes and shapes.  All topped with darn brown, touches of black and a splash of white oil sticks.  Each layer is heat fused.  Watch for more!
