Sneaking one in... Sinister Devil Cat

Sneaking one in and is this fun???!!! It started off as a sweet cat... and as I was sculpting, our new "kitten" was doing her usual "run around the house and destroy everything in sight!" moves. Its that time of year again. Time to sculpt the 2010 pieces for Enesco. I will be here, but posting only tiny updates and minimal pieces. I hope to also host a 30% off on my website in February. This time, unlimited quantity. I know, who on earth would want 10! But perhaps two? Just a thought :)

And most of all, thank you to all for my cards and well wishes. I do believe it helped me to get back up and running (perhaps not "running"....) quicker than I thought. xoxoxo

Cupid Cake

I am healing and feeling so much better now. Still hobbl'in around with another 4-6 weeks of recovering time left BUT the good thing is I am back to work. Hurray!! I submitted my stj goodies and finished up a Valentines painting this afternoon. Since Valentines day mostly leaves us feeling let down (dont tell me otherwise, ok) this painting reflects a bit of how I feel. Cupid at his best. Broken and sad

Today I broke my leg. I am the clumsiest person I know. Next week I was supposed to go to Atlanta to the gift show and now I cant go. OK so how did it happen... Walking out of a store and twisted one ankle going down stairs, then in an attempt to save myself from falling I twisted the other leg and snap. Gross I know. And horribly painful. Tears. I drove myself to the doctors and just knew what they would find. Luckily my awesome Kate helped me and as a matter of fact she is SO awesome, that when we came home she took down the Christmas tree (what I was going to do this afternoon) and cleaned up all the needles. xoxo
So I will be out of commission for a bit.
