Below is a copy of an email that I received this past weekend. Kenn is a dear friend of mine who's son has cancer. His son's name is Sam. Sam is battling Ewing's sarcoma. Please read and if you have any information to share in regard to this cancer type please email Kenn at the address below. Thank you~ Janell

I am sending this to everyone that I know.

Sam my son has cancer. Specifically, Ewing's sarcoma.

It started with a tumor on his hip and has metastasized (spred) to the lungs.

He is being treated at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.
Two different chemo protocols have been tried and not worked.

Stanford is at a loss for a cure.

I am searching for anyone that may have an answer.
Do you know of anyone with this type of cancer that has been treated?

Do you know anyone in volved in the field that may have some insight?
Do you know anyone that may be able to help Sam?

Moon man and good times

A few weekends ago I was lucky and got treated to a goblin sculpting class through the Faerieworlds Winter Celebration festival. Although I am not a goblin sculpture I did find the class a kick! That night after class some very special people in my life surrounded a dining room table and sculpted with clay. Wine, music and laughter filled the night. Are those not the best of times? I would say yes :) Here is my moon man I created with just one piece of clay. No armature as I usually do with my regular guys. This piece is not for sale. He's going to his original home. The place where he was created :)

I've got a day to myself here today. I decided to sculpt some spring birds. The birds will be apart of my new launch with d56 for 2011. Very similar in design. Just time for two. Both will be beautifully painted in bright pastel colors. Very yummy! So come back again to see the final completion of these cuties!

Seems I have been told that because of my quietness I am unapproachable. Sad. Yes, this is random in the midst of this new chaotic adventure I am starting but perhaps its time to tell a bit about myself in hopes to color my picture a bit brighter so you can understand that my quietness is... who I am.... on the internet.

Me on the internet: Worker, hard worker, dedicated, honest, true. What I am not on the internet: Social due to work, flashy, loud, entertaining, programmable, leader.
In life and in person: Dedicated, friendly, honest, animated, loud, creative and once you have entered my heart, you are apart of my inner soul.

Its a hard place this internet stuff. You only see what I type, what I create. Nothing more. I do not post photo's of my family, friends. Its not because I am cold or self absorbed or anything else you might think could be true. That is so not me. Its because I keep those things that are special close to me and it does not make my bond any stronger with my family, friends or even work by doing so.

I can only be comfortable being who I am and nothing more. If I fall short of what you want to see, I am sorry. Know that, I am me. Just me. Simple me.
