Missing my girl

Ah, missing my daughter like no tomorrow! This was week one and four left to go. I posted last week that she was leaving with a group called Northwest Youth Corp. Its a 5 week program. They travel in Oregon, Washington and Idaho all while working, camping, cleaning and repairing parts of our national and state parks. This has been hard for me. I am waiting by the phone hoping that today is the day she gets to call home. sigh......

In between my sulking I finished up these two pieces. Smashing Pumpkin's is my major league Halloween piece. And a Snowman being bothered by a pesky old woodpecker. Let me know if you are interested in either of the pieces. Prices upon request. Both a bit over 100.00.

I love these pieces Janell!

I know what you mean about missing the kids. Wait till she is grown and out of the house. It gets even harder then. There is not a day that I don't miss those little things. Like doing laundry, cleaning up after them and running to sports events. She'll be home before you know it.
